The area
Cherng Talay is the district that surrounds Bang Tao Bay, Laguna and Layan Beach. Away from the coast it is leafy and quiet, with many of Phuket’s modern pool-villa estates tucked between hills, lakes and rubber plantations. It is where a lot of families and long-term residents choose to put down roots.
