The area
Patong is Phuket’s best-known and busiest resort town, set on a wide bay on the west coast. It is where the island’s nightlife, entertainment and shopping are concentrated, and it stays lively all year. Away from the beachfront, the hillsides above the bay offer quieter streets and panoramic sea views.

Getting around

Mostly condominiums and serviced residences, from beachfront towers to hillside buildings with sea views. Patong has the highest tourist footfall on the island, which drives strong occupancy for well-managed short-term rentals.
