The area
Phuket Town is the island’s capital and its commercial centre. Its Old Town is full of restored Sino-Portuguese shophouses, independent cafés, galleries and some of the best local food on the island. Around it are modern malls, the main private hospitals, government offices and residential neighbourhoods where much of Phuket’s Thai community lives.

Condominiums, townhouses and family houses, generally at lower prices per square metre than the beach areas. Demand comes mainly from long-term tenants, both Thai and foreign, which gives steady, year-round occupancy.
